The Mossy Forest is situated near Gunung Brinchang, Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia. From Century Pines Resort in Tanah Rata, head northeast towards Brinchang (approximately 6 km). Follow Jalan Besar, passing through Kea Farm Market, and continue towards the Sungai Palas Boh Tea Estate. Turn left onto the steep, narrow road leading to Gunung Brinchang’s summit. The journey takes 20–25 minutes by 4WD vehicle, as standard cars cannot navigate the rugged terrain. Most tours include hotel pick-up from resorts like Century Pines.

The Mossy Forest Jeep Tour offers an immersive exploration of one of Malaysia’s oldest cloud forests. Perched at 2,000 metres above sea level, this ethereal landscape is shrouded in mist year-round, with ancient trees cloaked in thick moss, orchids, and ferns. A raised boardwalk allows visitors to traverse the fragile ecosystem without disturbing its biodiversity. Highlights include rare pitcher plants, stunted trees sculpted by wind, and panoramic views from Gunung Brinchang’s summit.
